The Juandah Plains Campdraft is the first of many to be held at “Juandah Plains”, Wandoan Queensland from 6th – 9th September 2023.

The equine complex at Juandah Plains is set to host its first ever Willinga Campdraft event in September 2023 where competitors will be vying for over $300,000 in prizemoney, trophy buckles and saddles; against the stunning backdrop of Queensland undulating countryside.
The program has been crafted over 4 days and will attract some of the best local and non-local riders in the sport:
- McKechnie Earthmoving Open – Nomination Fee $770 (inc GST)
- Colliers Agribusiness Maiden – Nomination Fee $165 (inc GST)
- Sandon Glenoch Angus & Dulverton Ladies – Nomination Fee $165 (inc GST)
- Pumps and Solar Teams Event (Not ACA Affiliated) – Nomination $1000 (inc GST)

The Tom Strachan Memorial Open Cut-Out
We are delighted to honour the memory of a beloved campdrafting competitor through the Tom Strachan Memorial Open Cut-Out Aggregate Trophy. This perpetual Quart Pot Bronze Trophy, expertly crafted by the renowned Jaye Hall, will be presented to the highest aggregate cut-out rider at the upcoming Willinga at Juandah Plains campdraft.

Each of these accommodations provides comfortable amenities and a warm, friendly atmosphere that will make your stay in Wandoan truly enjoyable.
General Information:
- Competitor Parking: Gates to Juandah Plains will be open 7am Tuesday 5th September. The committee will have designated parking attendants that will assist with area allocation.
- Spectator Parking: Gates open to Juandah Plains 7am Tuesday 5th and will be parked upon arrival.
- Horse Declarations to be completed and handed in upon arrival.
- There is no ATM on grounds; if you would cash monies withdrawn the Wandoan township has several available.
- There is eftpos available on ground that accepts all bank providers.
- All camping unpowered and there is no powered sites available. Please ensure you have suitable arrangements.
- No fuel supplies on property. Please bring ample amount to run generators, equipment and Trucks/vehicles. Wandoan has two fuel providers 25km from Juandah Plains grounds.
- Competition will commence 6am Wednesday 6th September.
- Full bar and beverages available Wednesday 6th September.
- Canteen catering by local business ‘Debs Catering’ available Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from Wednesday 6th September.
- Complimentary Competitor meal provided Wednesday 6th September from 6pm.
- Wandoan is located 25kms from Juandah Plains and has a small shopping precinct that can provide general grocery items; household supplies; fuel and alcohol.
- There will be a complimentary loop bus service available Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September from Juandah Plains to Wandoan CBD.
Property Rules:
- No bikes or ATVs to be brought onto Juandah Plains.
- All clearly marked ‘Restricted Area’ signage is to be abided by at all times.
- All children Under 14 years of Age are to be accompanied and responsibly supervised by an adult at all times.
- Property Identification Code (PIC): QCTR 0318
- HELMETS: Riders under the age of 18 must wear helmets whilst mounted at all ACA Affiliated events. Helmets must comply with Australian and New Zealand safety standards and must be securely fastened under the chin at all times.
- NO DOGS to be brought onto the Juandah Plains property.
- NO GLASS to be brought onto the grounds.
- Caravans welcome for Free Unpowered Parking.
- Parking attendants will allocate bays and parking areas will be clearly marked.
